5. During our check out, we tried to use a gift card that someone gave us for our wedding and the front desk guy said, oh, well, its going to take me 15 plus minutes to use this so do you just want to put it on your card and keep the gift card.

7. The location gave us an opportunity to check out the Gaslamp Quarter and the waterfront between the convention center and the USS Midway museum.

8. Check out via the in-room service was quick and easy, though the instructions laid out on the paperwork left at our door was outdated and possibly misleading to those not so technologically literate.

9. Lastly- check out the lounge upstairs rooftop- good views of the bay and Petco and a great outdoor fireplace, Conde Naste says it is one of the 'top rooftop bars'.
