We still like the Pacific
Beach
neighbourhood better, but if you have to stay downtown, this isn't a bad place to be.

For general tourists, the location is not is great, it's difficult to get to big San Diego sights like the
beach
and the San Diego Zoo.

You wouldn`t really need a car at this hotel to see several major downtown attractions, but it`s good to have one for going out to Balboa Park, the zoo, Seaworld, Old Town, the
beach
es, etc. If you can get a good rate at this hotel, book it.

The rooms were spotless, location was fantastic (within walking distance to bars/restaurants, short drive to the
beach
es and San Diego zoo), service was great from the minute we stepped out of the car.

You are walking distance to the
beach
