For what I paid, the location was great; a 10 minute walk to the Alamo but also with a bus stop right outside under the
highway
, and a short walk from the train station.

My room was overlooking the
highway
, but this was more than compensated for by the views over downtown San Antonio.

Across the I-35 (maybe I-37) was a Hampton Inn that charged almost 30.00 more per night and also had a view of the same
highway
I had.

So you have to walk under the
highway
, where all the homeless people stay, to get downtown.
