Negative for me is the fact that this hotel charges quite a lot for in-room wifi (they offer free wifi in the lobby as well as a computer lounge).

I do find it cheap and unacceptable that rooms costing $160 night do not have free
wireless
internet.

Bathrooms small, but it's an older hotel, disappointed no
wireless
in room unless you pay, available in lobby if you ask your 'concierge' for password.

On the downside though, in this day and age of free Wifi, it's hard to believe that some places are still charging for this.

Every reststop in the state of Texas now has free Wifi, but the Gunter charges $9.95/night (it is free in the lobby however).

The
wireless
internet seemed to work reasonably well in the rooms (there is a service charge); however, people staying on the front side of the hotel were able to pick up service from a rival hotel for free.

I would rate this at a 2.5 star hotel that charges you $28 for parking and $10 for
wireless
internet.

We got a reasonable price through Starwood, and the friendly and helpful check-in clerk put us on the club floor and threw in a free upgrade to include
wireless
access.
