1. Valet parking is expensive, but it's more convenient than parking in a public parking lot.

The attendant tried to be helpful by pointing out a garage across the street that offered cheaper parking, but he didn't seem to know what we discovered later: that the garage's parking is only cheaper if you get out by 8am!(2) Probably because the hotel wasn't originally built with them, the key cards often require a couple extra swipes to work in the doors.

7. Oh, and the valet parking is $28 a night, but there is a perfectly fine city parking garage across the street that we paid $9 a night for.

9. You have to pay $23 per day to park in the hotel's parking lot, we parked in a lot behind the hotel for $8 per day but, that they also charge you $8 each time you leave the parking ramp which was ok as we usually only left once a day, still cheaper then parking in the hotel parking lot.
