1. The new room had a tub and did not smell so bad (at first- the smell came back the next day which made me think perhaps it was a serious hygeine problem on the part of housekeeping staff?) but microwave was broken and iron was missing and the TV only got about half the channels it was supposed to.

2. From the website pictures this didn't seem quite right to me so I mentioned it when we went downstairs and the poor teenage boy at the desk was dumbfounded that they even had rooms without a bath tub (we had apparently been put in a handicapped room- but why?).

3. The shower was cold, and I had to run it for 10 minutes (no exaggeration!) before I had hot water in the shower-and sometimes in the middle of the shower the tub would suddenly turn on and I'd have to struggle with it to get it back to a shower again.

4. We went to our room which smelled awful (I said like a sweaty old man, my boyfriend argued it was just 'musty old hotel room') and were dismayed to see that we had only a nasty mildewed shower and no tub.
