2. After a very long trip (an 11-hour flight from Athens to New York, and another 5-hour flight from New York to Salt Lake City) I arrived in this hotel after midnight with their complimentary shuttle bus (3 minutes travel from the Salt Lake City airport).

3. I just wouldn't want to spend more than half a day there - Salt Lake is beautiful, get away from the airport.

6. I've stayed here several times on frequent trips to Salt Lake and am a Hilton Gold member so I would expect the hotel would have some flexibity on check in but have had the curious experience of being told my room isn't ready and made to wait for 3-4 hours to check in.

I was seriously thinking about staying at the nearby Marriott--SpringHill Suites property but decided to take the risk with the Hilton Salt Lake CIty Airport hotel because it offered both an indoor and outdoor pool, fitness center, complimentary airport shuttle and the breakfast buffet was included the rate).

10. Even though the hotel is located in a business park, it is surrounded by a little lake with ducks, a walking/biking trail and beautiful mountain views.
