3. I also liked the fact there was washer/dryer available for guests--a load of wash, plus drying time was less than $2.00 and the laundry detergent was complimentary (sometimes at the end of a week-long stay a quick wash is just what you need--just ask the front desk for a box or two).

4. I was seriously thinking about staying at the nearby Marriott--SpringHill Suites property but decided to take the risk with the Hilton Salt Lake CIty Airport hotel because it offered both an indoor and outdoor pool, fitness center, complimentary airport shuttle and the breakfast buffet was included the rate).

6. The hotel also does a great job of recognizing Hilton HHonors elite status with a complimentary drink and appetizer in the bar and concierge lounge access.

7. I had some work to accomplish on my first visit, and the internet (free for elite members) worked just fine; there's also a business center just off the lobby with complimentary printing (always appreciated).

8. After a very long trip (an 11-hour flight from Athens to New York, and another 5-hour flight from New York to Salt Lake City) I arrived in this hotel after midnight with their complimentary shuttle bus (3 minutes travel from the Salt Lake City airport).
