4. I had booked ahead of time by calling, and since I like the shared bath concept at many Mcmenamins, I booked the least expensive room here which would have had a shared bath down the hall.

6. One thing I noticed was the smell of old suitcases filled the room, Not good for those with allergies to dust, but anyways back to the highlights: LCD tv small but nice, sink, ingenious use of milk crates for towel holders, free internet, Stumptown coffee in the foyer, the shared baths were clean and huge, and pretty friendly front desk staff- they gave us doggy treats and great tips on parking for free- I don`t understand how some reviewers felt hoodwinked.

8. It took us awhile to get an iron for my dress then when I went to take a bath in the gorgeous claw-foot tub, I got a trickle of lukewarm water.

10. It reminded me of my old dorm in San Francisco, very minimal, but honestly it is overpriced for a room with a private bath.
