1. Had some great food in Philly (tapas in Bar Ferdinand in thd Northern Liberties, Mexican in El Vez), will be back hopefully.

6. The Irish Bar on the ground floor is convenient for drinks and breakfast (although we would recommend 'Little Petes' 219 S 17th St - the food was good and cheap, great coffee too) - we did see someone famous in the bar, everyone (but us) seemed to recognise him.

8. The woman in charge of the breakfast room "Sharon" was lovely and suggested we take food back to our room for the next day so we wouldn't have to fight the crowd to catch our early am flight.

(In fact, apart form making coffee, we eat out - at Hirshel's East Side deli in the Reading Market (enormous pastrami sandwiches) and at the "Dover Seafood Grill" a few blocks South of the hotel, in the Rittenhouse Square area (excellent sea food!) The Windsor had pleasant helpful staff (when checking in and when storing baggage).
