1. However, Philadelphia is a great city to walk around and the Hyatt is a bit isolated separated from South street by the expressway and a good bit away from much of the center city action.

5. The hotel is a very short walk from the historic district - 10 minutes, if that, and if you don't want to spend $7 for a bowl of cold cereal, you can easily find a great little diner on 325 Chestnut Street - in the Old City, called Mrs.

10. On Sunday we took a cab to Pat`s famous cheesesteaks and then found we could stroll at a comfortable pace back through a wonderful open air Italian market along 9th street, which eventually ended up on South again.
