The hotel states that the cars are kept offsite and they are not responsible for article in the car, but I feel it is their responsibility to ensure belongings are secure, especially since the

They do charge $44 for
valet parking
but there is a parking garage at the Wanamaker Bldg (Macy's) that is $26 for the night and other lots nearby if you don't want to use valet.
