However, as many have noted, the area can be a bit dodgy at night (later at night - early evening was fine) but for dinnertime and shortly thereafter we found the neighborhood had plenty of

s and restaurants with outside seating and enough people around that it was 'pleasantly crowded' with people just enjoying themselves.
