We drove into NOLA at about 3:30 on the day we were to check in and called the hotel to confirm where to park - were told very non chelantly by Precious (as mentioned in previous posts) that their lot was already full but that she saw a spot directly in front of the Lobby on the street at that time and if we hurried hopefully no one would get it.

5. You just have to read the street signs and know basic parking/driving rules to figure out where to park where you won't get towed.

6. Remember that they do not want you to park closer than 18' to the crosswalk - I had a car towed.
