1. However, it was lovely to sit out in the courtyard to eat breakfast.

2. The good: a very large suite that seemed to be created in an 1800s home (a huge bedroom, living room, 2 baths and a wet bar with micro and small refrigerator, 2 huge closets and 2 good sized dressers), a gorgeous courtyard where we unwound every night for a couple of hours after spending the day in the FQ, extremely comfy beds, the staff was pleasant and helpful, the lobby and grounds were charming, out of the FQ but close enough to walk if you don't want to ride the St Charles streetcar which stops across the street, a couple blocks from the WWII museum, breakfast had a decent amount of variety including fruit,do it yourself waffles (you could use 1-2 more waffle makers), pre cooked cheese omlettes, hostess mini donuts, hard boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt.

3. Rates are quite reasonable and include a better than average continental breakfast and Wi-Fi.
"Nothing fancy, but clean, comfortable, and a good value " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/11/2012 Vote
4. On the upside, the breakfast buffet was perfect by the courtyard -- great coffee.

6. Music plays through speakers around the property, courtyards have nice seating and landscaping (love the beads in the trees), a small but welcoming pool, breakfast was good with many options and nice seating areas.
"Not a four star but really a great find " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/20/2012 Vote
7. Breakfast was good with hot entrees, yogurt, bagles, waffles, etc. This is a member of the Choice Hotels chain, but quite charming.

"Favorite hotel in NOLA! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/9/2012 Vote
10. There's at least one very charming funky little breakfast spot a couple blocks away (Blue Plate Cafe on Prytania Street) and I'd say that's a much better option if you have time and don't mind paying for breakfast rather than getting it free.
"Great location, good rates, charming space (but still a chain hotel) " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/9/2012 Vote
