1. I have stayed there during their 'Event pricing' but was always able to negotiate a better rate with the manager myself (maybe because im a Diamond member).

4. The first night we couldn't tune in the menu button on the relic of a TV, so we could get a list of available movies to see what the kids could watch with the free movie included in our rate, so set that aside for the next day.

5. So, if you are a type-B traveler (easy going), you will really like this place - it's close to the French Quarter, the staff is accommodating, the rates seem reasonable.

8. I recommend reserving the 'bed and breakfast' rate - for $10 extra per night you get a very nice big breakfast for at least 2 adults and 2 children.
