3. The good news is that just about everything is within walking distance--the quarter's over there, Riverwalk is that way, those great restaurants are back there, John Besh's August is VERY close, and heck Mother's is just across the street.

6. My bf and I actually booked the room for one night, as we were attending a late night concert at nearby House of Blues (which was within walking distance of the hotel) and we didn't want the hassle of having to drive home during the wee hours of the morning.

9. Great views of the city and location was within walking distance of many restaurants and the French Quarter for shopping, etc. We had a vehicle and enjoyed driving to the Garden District which is our new favorite area for shopping and food.

10. The location is good (within walking distance of much of what you go to New Orleans to see) and the hotel, for the most part, is clean and functional so an overall decent place to stay (plus they allow pets, which is always nice in case you want to bring your dog or cat!).
