1. likes: - nice building, modern look & feel, rooms are comfy- concierge was very helpful with sightseeing tips, overall the staff was friendly- pool is awesome- we forgot something in the room, they found it and shipped it to us for freenot too good: - not much to do around in the area, probably don't want to wander off at night- not much in terms of restaurants etc (except a burger king across the street), hotel's own options are pretty sad too- housekeeping staff was rude (I asked for some sugar, and the lady started questioning me that I should already have it in my room)- parking is a big rip off ($25 for single entry and $28 for valet)- breakfast buffet was average, for the price they charge.

7. I felt more comfortable walking (alone) on the street versus into the car park plus it seemed just as quick.

8. They gave us directions across a parking garage, across the street, to a bunch of restaurants of which only one was open.

9. Walking back we discovered a burger king and a checkers directly across the street from the front entrance, we couldnt figure out why they wouldnt have bothered to mention those to us.

10. Only downside is having to use elevators to get from street level to lobby - normally this wouldn't be a problem, but there were vast numbers of people all doing this at the same time (due to an event) and we waited a while, with no stairs available as a back up option to waiting.
"Location is great for getting around downtown! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/12/2012 Vote
