1. oh wait except the bar across the street is half the price for twice the drink.

2. On a final note we didn't feel very safe walking around down town LA at night so stayed in the local area of the hotel, be warned there's not that much around, we stumbled on an Italian which was nice and a cafe down the street which was great for breakfast.

4. I also received a great recommendation for dinner from the hotel mgr to go to Drago Centro (directly across the street) and it was great as well.

7. There are also several very cool little spots for breakfast or lunch( The Daily Grill across the street was great as was the Standard`s cafe downstairs.

This hotel is original (room design, roof top) if for business purpose you need to stay in Downtown LAThe corporate rate is OK 170$Pay just attention not to break your leg with the bed when you wake up : it is on a pedestalOn the negative side, a little bit noisy if your room is on the street and not on the parking side The rate was excellent for LA about $160.

9. We had to close all the curtains while showering because the building across the street would have gotten a direct view into our bathing activities.

10. Unlike hollibird, I liked the idea of the bathroom's glass walls (I got some great photos of my boyfriend taking a shower) but because we were on the third floor and across from a tall office building and an uphill street, I had to close all the window curtains which, in my opinion is a big design flaw.
