9. So I strongly recommend staying at the Marriott or the Westin and walking a couple of blocks to the Standard, having a drink at the rooftop bar, and then returning to a much more comfortable hotel room.

10. You can catch the metro to Hollywood which is a much nicer area, but coming back to the hotel at night time was scary and I would not recommend going around by yourself at night as there were a lot of gangs around along with homeless people.
