We were originally looking to stay in Santa Monica but on our budget we opted for beachfront on Venice instead of back blocks of Santa Monica and were not disappointed The hotel is in a great spot and it's a quick bus ride up to Santa Monica or about an enjoyable 40 minute stroll along the boardwalk.

3. rooms are still spotlessly clean but again wasnt in them for long, too busy outside on the beachfront.
