3. Homeless are everywhere but dont bother you much however it IS beach front really close to main street that has a ton of cool cafes, restaurants and bars and 5 mins from Santa Monica.

6. The area has great bars and restaurants including the Whaler up the road or my favorite, Ricks on Main Street, or you could grab brekkie at the Fig Trees for an amazing half price omlette before 9am.
