1. If you stay here and use their shuttle, they'll drop you off at Terminal 1 of LAX where you can take the FlyAway bus to downtown, which is a very time- and cost-efficient way to get into town during rush hour seeing as they use those nifty HOV lanes and all.

5. If you are looking to stay and nice hotel close to the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) that's not nice, convenient, cost-effective with extremely courteous staff, I would highly recommend the Westin Los Angeles Airport.

6. Upon check out, the guest services guy didn't even have the proper bill (I had to remind him to add on our parking costs which I really should've just kept quiet about), nor did he ask us how our stay was.

7. And it only cost 75 cents to go up to the Santa Monica Promenade on the Big Blue, but other hoetels are closer and nicer.
