1. I appreciated a very swift check-in with gracious front-desk staff (sign up for the Omni rewards program for paper-free check-in and check-out) and the excellent rate offered to government employees.

2. I found a very reasonable rate several months before my trip, so that's why I chose to stay here, in addition to the sheer convenience of being directly across the street from the Times-Union Center.
