1. Excellent offering and a life saver given the seedy character and deserted streets in Downtown (at least when it is after 6 pm.

Finally, enjoy the neighborhood, particularly El Rey, the bodega across the street with the best cafe con leche in the United States, and Notsuoh (Houston spelled backward), a funky bar a few doors down on Main Street which Robert Pattison of Twilight discovered on a trip to Houston and has raved about ever since.

4. Fast forward to the end, when I eventually picked up the tab ACROSS THE STREET, it was for 24 drinks, and 2 plates of nachos, $230, and the tip was $50.

7. There is a wonderful jazz club across the street call Red Cat Jazz and it has awesome live jazz.

8. It is an easy walk to the high speed train which makes stops along Main street, easy access to the hospitalsStaff very friendly, and quick to help (no problems when I brought attention to being incorrectly charged for the mini-bar)Clean rooms and very comfortable beds.
