An observant walk round the surrounding streets will reveal a buzzing little scene of cool cafes, cutting edge bars, a fabulous Mexican fast food joint just up the road, galleries, etc etc. If youre really stuck and want a quick bite to eat, there's also the tired looking Italian place on the corner that does a great early bird menu and has friendly staff.

8. There's a shuttle service around downtown (and yes the driver is nice & friendly!) Behind the hotel there's a small park with a great gyros & greek food stand in it.
