1. We did not spend much time in the room but when we did the TV and internet worked fine and the nice thing about the older showers is they have awesome pressure.

3. The hallway carpets mound up so be careful you don`t trip, the shower dripped and was chipped and rusted, the rooms are very small and the european twin beds mean you must snuggle if you want to sleep two to a bed.

5. The rooms are pretty dumpy, toilets and showers leak all over the bathroom floor, the hallways and dim and mustly smelling.

8. In short, the bathroom appeared so unsanitary that neither my wife nor I were willing to use the shower despite intending to shower at the hotel.

Our room had several minor annoyances:-ratty, stained carpet-a 'bed' that more closely resembled a packing pallet-a TV that does not turn on with the remote-a thermostat that was questionably functional-a disgusting shower drain-the restroom did not have a hairdryer-incredibly thin walls (we had to turn the TV on to drown out our neighbor`s hacking cough)-no clear instructions were given on how to use the free WiFi (which was a nice touch, I`ll admit.

As many reviewers have described, it was renovated in the 80s, but not touched since: moldy showers, threadbare sheets, cigarette burns in the bedspreads (and the lingering stench of stale menthol cigarette smoke, even though the rooms were 'non-smoking', peeling wallpaper, filthy in-room carpets, bubbling hallway carpets.
