1. They have a great staff that are always cheerful and helpful, a bar and dining area that has good food as well as a friendly staff, and they have a fabulous breakfast buffet where the server we had the first day was so helpful and efficient that we requested her station each morning for our entire stay.

2. There is a Starbucks next door and within a ten minute walk there are dozens of restaurants from fast food (Subway), to a food court, to a pizza place, to a Legal Seafood, and several really nice restaurants.

3. Good thing the food in the area was so great and affordable that I didn't have to worry about going to a grocery store for healthy food.

4. Have stayed here before and always found it a convenient location to some excellent eateries (particularly if you like Asian food) and convenient to getting from and to Logan (the airport).

5. We had a room overlooking Wahsington Street (despite on my original booking I had requested a high floor quiet room, we ended up on the 2nd floor) and we did experience some noise but mainly from the ambulance sirens for the hospital opposite but it didn't usually go on very late, the noise in the hotel was nil and we never heard anyone in the corridors etc.The staff at this hotel are pleasant and friendly and offer helpful advice etc. We didn't eat breakfast as we were put off with the extortionate prices and there are loads of alternatives from fast food outlets or pastry places to pick up a more than adequate breakfast.

9. But if you want to get a meal outside the hotel, there's nothing within a few blocks--you have to walk towards Back Bay to find anything other than fast food.
"Decent location - badly needs refurbishment " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/2/2009 Vote
