1. For the price we paid ($70 including taxes and fees), this hotel was superb.

2. I checked again on Expedia (the site we booked through), and the 40$ per day fee IS listed (I guess we missed it the first time), however there was no mention when we parked that we would be charged until we received the bill at checkout.

5. we didn't want to uselessly argue further but we did not accept to pay that price for that room, so we came to an agreement and they waived off the $40 fee for the parking.
