1. What bugged me, however, were things like the unavoidable (if you're driving) $35/night charge for parking--there is nowhere close that you could even try for street parking--and other money-grubbing details like $15 for WiFi.

2. The best thing about the hotel was the complimentary shuttle to harvard square and a bunch of other popular locations - it was really convenient and saved us quite a bit of money on cabs.

In a nutshell the hotel was great, saved us lots of money, location is not an issue and it was perfect for our amazing, full packed stay in the beautiful city of Boston :) We would recommend to families, couples, short business trips, and for those who like to spend their holiday out and about exploring and keep their hotel for sleeping.

5. If you cant spend $300 a night somewhere else, this Doubletree is a good place to save some money while spending time in Boston.

6. To be fair, I got a double through Priceline for $99, plus taxes etc., so for the money, I got a much better hotel, nicer amenities than I would have paying full price elsewhere.

8. I haven't been to a hotel in YEARS that didn't provide some kind of free continental breakfast, unless it was a high class hilton, with a gorgeous spread that was worth the money.
