1. What bugged me, however, were things like the unavoidable (if you're driving) $35/night charge for parking--there is nowhere close that you could even try for street parking--and other money-grubbing details like $15 for WiFi.

4. There is a queen size pullout sofa, where two of my kids slept comfortably and the hotel provided a pack and play free of charge for our youngest child.

They still charge for private internet, but the free public internet does reach virtually all of the rooms, and is adequate as long as you are not downloading files, etc. Once you cut through some of the penurious policies of the hotel, it is clean and spacious with a pleasant staff and comfortable suites that are often quite affordable by Boston standards.
