It also has the advantage of being close to Chinatown (good food), the Boston Commons,
Downtown
Crossing and Newbury Street (good shopping), the theater district, and the T's Green Line.

We went to see Harvard, MIT and
downtown
Boston with the lovely Quincy Market,We enjoyed The BLue Man group in the theatre just around the corner from the Hotel.

I could occasionally hear honking or loud honks from the street below (we were on the 10th floor) and last night, I could distantly hear a drunk man bellowing (Friday night in
downtown
Boston - big surprise), but for the most part it was very quiet.
