1. We used TripAdvisor to find local restaurants such as Dave's Coffee Shack (I'll report on it separately), and were able to keep meal costs quite reasonable.

9. But, remember, little kids don't know the difference between luxury & fun, so save the $ while they are young and take them to this Hilton for a 'Disney' like experience in Hawaii, but for much less cost.

10. Plus, to help keep costs down, we recommend going to Costco and getting things like bottled water, booze, fruit, snacks, etc. We then used the $10 Hilton Honor certificates for breakfast, ate snacks from Costco for lunch, and then ate at the resort for dinner -worked well.
