1. There is a grocery store across the street that you can walk to if need be, and a decent pizza place (Pizza Paradisio) in the same shopping center.

2. Downside of the rooms: too dark in the bathrooms (as a chick, I struggled applying make-up and not looking like a street-walker) and make sure to rinse your dishes well as the maids just shove them in the dishwasher and turn it on, so they are not always clean when it's done.

3. Grocery store and great coffee shops across the street (definitely don't miss Bad A$s Coffee about a kilometer North from Honua Kai).

4. We grabbed supplies from the Times market across the street, also the Fish Market was awesome, they had fresh seafood and marinade for the fish, so we cooked twice in the condo, very convenient with little kids.

6. The Times supermarket across the street was very convenient and for some fun and casual lunches we enjoyed Mama's Ribs n' Rotisserie (order the teriyaki roast chicken early in the day as it sells out).

7. I'O and Pacific'O down Front street are outstanding and use the freshest ingredients - which is so well reflected in their presentation and flavors.

9. There is a huge grocery store right across the street from the hotel so we had great fun cooking our own food as well.
