1. If you rent form a owner or property manager, you get a slightly different experience than renting as a hotel room through the resort (no daily housekeeping, free towels at the pool or room charging), however, we got garage parking directly under our unit and a huge cost savings as a result.

7. - Patios are large- Everything is brand new(ish) in the suite and on the grounds- Family environmentNegatives- Distance to 'the action' of Whalers Village / Kaanapali (35 minute walk / 5 minute drive)- Cost to park ($10 day), Cost of Resort fee ($25 day)- WIND (was windy 3 of the 7 days)- Coral in shallow water (diffucult to snorkel, enter water)- Family environment (can be both good and bad)We've read many reviews about the wind at the resort but didnt quite buy into the idea until our second day, thinking the reviews must have been due to the time of year.
