1. There is a $25/day resort fee which covers parking for one car (underground or surface), towels at the pool, etc. On our last day they ran out of towels at the pool by 11:00a - other than that the experience was outstanding.

2. I have no problem with a resort fee but it's a bit rich when you on top of the $25 a day have to pay for beach chairs and umbrellas if you want them on the beach.

5. The resort will ask them to stop and tell them it's not allowed (and allegedly, hit them with hefty $$$ cleaning fees for smoking) but the smokers generally put their cigs out when the management is there and then light up again as soon as they leave.

7. We were able to get a 3 bedroom condo, full ocean view for about $688.00 per night (with taxes and cleaning fees included, on a 4 night stay).

8. There is a small charge for making the beds into twins, and making up the hide-a-bed, and a cleaning fee at the end (altogether $250 I think), which makes up for the fact that you don't pay the $25/day resort fee.

9. Overall, this hotel has a great location and great food (Duke's was really lovely), but the sneaky fees and shouting children really detracted from our experience.

10. For example, our unit including valet parking, daily maid service, and a supply of laundry/dishwashing detergent, no check-out cleaning fee, etc. The unit our friends stayed in did not include those amenities.
