1. We had no issues with the area and although it does seem to boarder some questionable streets we never had any issues when we were out walking around (morning or late at night- past 12am).

7. The rooms are small but comfortable enough for 2 if you're not spending large amounts of time in your room, and the double hung windows keep out an amazing amount of street noise.
