1. They did comply and waved the fee because I wasn't informed prior to check-in, but the parking charge is something everyone should know about up front.

2. We didn`t have time to do research on hotels since we booked it in a hurry BUT we have done research since then and other hotels do not have such outrageous parking fees.

5. We spend all day on the street and just came back to sleep, another reason why we went with this hotel was because there is a garage close by and it was the cheapest we could find instead of paying the ridiculous fees at every single hotel in San Francisco.
