1. As a central starting point for sight-seeing, it was extremely handy, within walking distance of Fishermans Wharf and Downtown, with trollies and buses available just outside and across the road.

6. Because my husband has Gold Passport, we often use Hyatt, and the one in Embarcadero just because it's next to the Ferry Building, but if you must choose Hyatt, the other Hyatt in downtown SF is far superior in every way.
