1. It is a small hotel, with a tiny but beautiful lobby area witha big window overlooking the street.

2. We had a room at the side of the hotel and this meant that we didn't get too much street noise, but we also didn't get a view, but just like I didn't come to SF to sit in a hotel room, I didn't come to look out of the window either.

3. The location is hard to beat, just a block from Union Square, and there are conveniences right nearby - a 7-11 and 24 hour Walgreens right across the street, and a Starbucks on the opposite corner.

4. On the other hand, if you are traveling alone or looking to find a reasonable hotel in a great location and lack of space doesn't bother you and you don't mind street noise, this is a great place for you.

6. One of the things is get a good night's sleep to get up wander across the street to Starbucks, and then after that I go on foot everywhere, last time it was two art museums, a pleasure for myself as an artist.

9. There is a Walgreens convenience store across the street from the hotel which is open 24 hours for those who need a late night run to buy toothpaste or water.
