5. First of all the hotel is very conveniently located - within easy walking distance of major downtown attractions - and for those who have trouble negotiating San Francisco's steep inclines, it's only one block from the Powell Street Cable Car.

9. If your stay in San Francisco involves spending much of your time in the downtown (Union Square, etc) and you don't want to eat every meal at a restaurant then you will love the Grosvenor.
