1. We were welcomed warmly, given hassle-free parking across the street (I'd called ahead), and appreciated the bottle of wine that was part of our check-in.

9. As far as fun things to do, we had a car for two days ($15/day to park at the Queen Anne with first-come/first-served parking) and traveled to the Napa/Sonoma area one afternoon and hit a few of the wineries for tastings.
