1. We arrived at about 11am - way before check in time yet 5 of our 6 rooms were already ready for us and check in was a breeze.

2. Reception was efficient and reasonably friendly, and at check-in we were given an upgrade to a lovely room with two large beds, a bay window and fireplace.

3. The lobby adjacent to check-in is a nice place to hang out - interesting Victorian furnishings and multiple fireplaces with coffee available around the clock.

4. We were welcomed warmly, given hassle-free parking across the street (I'd called ahead), and appreciated the bottle of wine that was part of our check-in.

7. We arrived at the Queen Anne Hotel a few hours before check-in and the staff made every accomadation to check us in to a room as quickly as possible, offering to hold luggage and provide a parking space across the street in the meantime.
