1. The free limo service downtown on weekdays was most welcome, and one of the drivers was particularly loquacious and a real source of local knowledge with regards to the best night spots, coffee, and other vital necessities.

4. It took us 20 minutes to walk from the hotel to Downtown, but if you are tired of walking, you can easily catch a bus, which brings you directly to Union Square and some Bart Station.
