1. They were to a US cell phone and the welcome pack made no mention of charges other than a $1.50 connection fee.

3. Take advantage of their complementary wine tasting hour in the evening and if you book online with the Kimpton Hotel chain you can get a complementary continental breakfast for a nominal fee.

9. The room with a view was offered with a $40 upgrade fee which I didn't mind paying as we were there for 3 days and the thought of a room with no view was not ideal.
