4. We enjoyed our recent stay at argonaut hotel, check in and check out was efficient, room was comfortable and fun and the daily wine reception was nice.

It is within fairly easy walking distance of the Marina District, Little Italy (check out Sotto Mare and Mama's) and is literally write next to the Hyde Street Cable Car terminus which will get you easily into Union Square (tip: beat the crowds and get on an early one)Rooms are large (especially if you are from the UK) and customer service was good.

7. The Argonaut made the perfect base of operations to explore the Wharf and Pier 39, check out Ghiradelli Square, and we also took a bike tour of the city from the bike company based right next door to the hotel.

If a guest, or a guest's family member or acquaintence, goes so far to order special gift cerfiticates from the Kimpton website, the least the hotel properties can do is to accept them and ACT like they have seen the colorful corporate certificates from Kimpton at least once before without questioning the guest in front of all the other guests waiting in line to check out.
