4. the staff is very friendly and if you don't want to spring for the hotel parking, there is plenty of street parking (metered) or lots just a block away that are very reasonable.

6. It's an easy walk (in an SF vertical sort of way) to all sorts of dining, Chinatown, etc. One irritating fact of life is that not only is hotel parking predictably exorbitant ($40/day), the valet requests 30 minutes notice to get the car.

7. We simply needed to leave and come back once a day so felt it would be easier to spend the $45 ($40 + $5 parking tax) to have it parked for us.

10. BTW, there are a couple of parking lots on Bush within close proximity if you don't want to spend $40/24 hours for their valet parking.
