1. The hotel was ideal for our trip with the beach two blocks away, and plenty of shops within walking distance.

2. At the evenings we often took walks down to the through Collins Avenue, Ocean drive or Washington Avenue, and also the Lincoln Road area was full of restaurants and shops, which was nice.

7. One small gripe is that most of the action happens at the other end of Ocean Drive, so in the heat the walk is not terribly pleasant.
