2. When I called ahead to ask about parking charges, they told me one thing on the phone and upon arrival, they add a deadline and $20 rip-off charge to get the car out by 2 p.m. the following day, when you could drive into the EXACT SAME garage yourself and get the same rate for 24 hours.

3. I can't remember whether it didn't have laundry services or if they wanted to charge for it but either way we had to go elsewhere to do ours.

4. We had to unplug the clock and lamps to charge our phone and ipads and use our hair straighteners, etc. The in room a/c was noisy and drove me crazy when trying to sleep.

5. You can be connected via your room to the restaurant, but be careful they will charge you for the phone call (even though they call it their 'room service')It is one of the more affordable mag mile hotels, however I would pay the few dollars more for a better hotel next time.

6. They do charge for Internet in the rooms, but you can take your laptop down to the lobby bar and connect for free.

8. He upgraded our prepaid Queen bed room to a King corner suite on the 17th floor, which he did at no charge, since the hotel was not full, and it was around a holiday.
