1. We thought about eating at the hotel, but unfortunately, the China restaurant had recently closed and we didn't have the opportunity to check out Angels and Kings, but the location of the hotel is great for walking the State Street shopping district or heading to Millennium Park or the 'museum campus'.

6. Plus, there is a Walgreens right across the street, which was great for quick stops for bottles of soda and snacks so we wouldn't have to pay $5 for a can of pop and $3 for a Kit Kat bar out of the minibar.

10. There are also sooo many great restaurants, it was hard to pick where to eat every day, but here are a few of our suggestions: Lou Malnati`s for pizza, Chicago Chop House for a good steak, Japanais for some awesome sushi, the Bongo Room for brunch, Big Bowl for some good Chinese and Thai food, Potbelly`s for a good toasted sandwich(soo much better than Quizno`s), and Portillo`s or any street vendor for a Chicago-style hot dog.
